What we diagnose
A fault code points to a system or condition. Testing is still needed to identify the cause before a repair is recommended.

Diagnosis for aftertreatment warnings, regen concerns and engine derate conditions.
Testing for starting, charging, wiring, sensor and communication concerns.
Computer diagnostics for the heavy-duty commercial trucks the Chino shop services.
The diagnostic method
A code can describe a condition without identifying the failed component. Our work follows the evidence from the truck instead of treating every code as a reason to replace a part.
We begin with the driver’s symptoms, warning lights and fault information, including when the problem appears and whether the truck is driveable.
Computerized diagnostics and live data help narrow the system involved. Depending on the concern, the next check may focus on electrical, engine or aftertreatment behavior.
We explain what the checks indicate and the proposed repair. Authorized work is checked again before the truck is released.
Before you call
Have the truck year, make and model, dashboard warning lights or fault codes, current symptoms, and whether it is driveable, in derate or a no-start. Do not put a VIN, license plate, invoice or customer information in a public comment.

Computer diagnostic questions
ZZH provides shop-based computer diagnostics for Freightliner, Volvo and other Class 8 commercial trucks. Call with the truck year, make, model and current symptoms before arrival.
Yes. The shop troubleshoots warning lights, fault codes, derates, no-start conditions and DPF, DEF or aftertreatment concerns. Similar symptoms can have different causes, so testing is needed before a repair is recommended.
No. A fault code helps identify the system that needs attention, but it does not by itself prove which part has failed. ZZH uses the code and the truck symptoms as the starting point for testing.
ZZH advertises shop-based service at 13385 Yorba Ave in Chino. Call or text 626-493-3622 before arrival, especially if the truck is in derate or will not start.
